LISA KNOWS HOW TO NAVIGATE THE SYSTEM
In addition to her years of family law practice, Lisa has been involved in family law reform efforts for over 15 years. Starting in 1998 she began working with other individuals and groups to effectuate changes in the system to ensure better outcomes for families and children. Lisa co-founded TABS: Taking Action against Bias in the System, a family law citizens' reform group. TABS has been involved with supporting shared parenting, working towards domestic violence and protection order reform, and development of the parental relocation law (move-away cases). Lisa has written numerous articles and op-ed pieces, led seminar programs and community events, and testified on many important family law bills in the Washington state legislature in Olympia. Lisa's reform work gives her a unique insight into how best to work through the current system on behalf of her clients.
